three questions about:

1) any one familiar with these

2) anyone growing them -- Zone 6B or 7

3) where can I get one, particularly Snow Flurry

but doesn't anyone try the hardy ones a bit further north?

Or is ite the wrong time of year for camellias growers?

    Dear kayskats,
I think you'll find 'Snow Flurry' at Camellia Forest Nursery in Chapel Hill, NC. They have an excellent, secure Website.

thanks so much ... I was so pleased to see that they have a number of the Ashton/Ackerman camellias.

This nursery in New Jersey has about seven cold-hardy ones. I just bought one ('Winter's Snowman') to try in a protected location, though I doubt it will bloom even it survives winter here (coastal New Hampshire).
But very nice plants...packed well and very quick shipping. I'm pretty certain the Enkianthus I also bought will do well.
