locating White Empress

| Does anyone know where I can find White Empress 4' or taller in the Atlanta, GA area? (Wholesale or retail). I haven't been able to find these for several years. |

| 'White Empress' originated in Mobile. I think there are a couple of wholesalers here who have larger sizes. Check with Green Nurseries in Fairhope, Al. Or Glen Read Nursery in Agricola Mississippi. Or Overlook Nursery in Mobile. One of them may have it, and they may be able to give you a retail nursery in your area through whom they can sell you one. |

| I'm sure you've checked with Atlanta's Pike Nurseries for 'White Empress.' I think Pike normally stocks a good selection of camellia varieties. As far as Southeastern nurseries are concerned, you should find 'White Empress' available at Cam Too Camellia Nursery, Inc., 805 Oakbury Court, Greensboro, NC, 27455. | Visit or call Ashe Simpson Nursery on Peachtree Rd, a little east of Ashford Dunwoody Rd. They have the best selection of camellias in Atlanta. If you can't find it there, Nuccio's Nursery in California has just about every camellia available through mail order. Nuccio's has beautiful plants. The other nurseries mentioned in this thread have gorgeous plants too, but they're wholesale dealers only. |
