Beautiful plant. Camellias really need to go outdoors. They like the winter chill and indoors, unless you have an unheated room, they will likely fall prey to pests and just won't thrive for many years.

If you are in a very mild GA climate (zone 8), you might keep it in a large pot outdoors -- like in a shady spot on a patio, so you can keep it near. Otherwise, it would grow best in the ground with some mulch in a shady or dappled shade spot.
