| How hard is it to get cuttings started on Japonicas, any good advise would be appreciated.

| Hello, Colleen. The link below, from the American Camellia Society's Website, discusses how to propagate by cuttings. Propagation by cuttings works best if done from soft wood cuttings taken no later than August. This time of the year you can try propagation by Air Layering.
