RE: yellow camellia's

I am sorry not to be able to attend to your demand. I do not have yellow Camellias.

But I am useful to put photographies of the Camellia nitidissima. It is a Camellia which flowers appear regularly in our Camellias's exhibitions.

They are photographies of 40 and 41 International Exhibition of the Camellia (Galicia, Spain).
Regards.

Camellia nitidissima in 40th International Camellia Show

Thanks, Mark.

Camellia nitidissima (ex : Thea cryshanta, ex : Camellia cryshanta), is a very common species today. The good fans have it between his camellias. But it is very difficult to take care.

I teach here, the special cubic structure, which it protects in the Rural Palace "Casa do Casal", the Camellias nitidissima.

Pardon for my evil English.
Regards.

In the International Camellia Journal of 1978, there is an article about the Golden Camellias.

It is said there, that in the Arnold Arboretum of Boston, there was a " Thea petelotti " (Camellia petelotti) in 1924.

Also I read in another place, which existed in the collection of the Arnold Arboretum, a " Theopsis crysantha " (Camellia crysantha).

Do these Camellias live still in Boston?
Thanks.
Pardon for my evil Englishman(English).
Regards.
Happy New Year 2006

Check out Wintergarden on the net (aka greennurseries.com), and look at 'Dahlonega' to see a nice pale yellow selection.
