| Hi
I am looking for a tall, upright, fast growing, dark pink/rose/ Sasanqua for the northeast corner of my house. This is on the side of my house and my lot slopes side to side. House is 3 stories on that end (including partial basement) and only 1 story on the other side (garage.) so I need something tall to anchor that high corner, but it also needs to be narrow because the bed is not that wide. My brick is pale pink so I need a dark pink or rose flower, but not Yuletide because it's too red. I'd love it to ultimately get to 10-12ft. I am thinking Kanjiro. Also interested in Sparkling Burgundy. Is the growth habit on these the same? I can't find any info on their mature size/shape. Which of these would you recommend and are there any others I should consider? Thanks! |

| It sounds like 'Kanjiro' would be an excellent choice. It grows faster than 'Sparkling Burgundy' and more upright. 'Sparkling Burgundy' is very beautiful, but has a more spreading habit. Mature height for 'Kanjiro' is at least about 20 feet if allowed to grow. You may still have to prune 'Kanjiro' to keep it narrow, but I think you will be pleased, its a nice one. |

| Thanks. I bought a Kanjiro today at Home Depot. They had a great selection. |
