Hi there, I've been interested in camellias for quite a while and I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with the above cultivar. I am not exactly in zone 7, I'm very borderline 6b-7a. Some websites will call my zone 7 when I plug in my zip code, others 6, it's that variable. Anyway, Camellia Forest Nursery gives a pretty good description of it and it's one of the few that I think I could purchase as opposed to the Ackerman hybrids, which I think bloom too late, there'd be risks...

Anyway I'd like if anybody knew anything about the shape how it grows, they say it's vigorus but don't touch on the shape; is it spreading ( I guess like a tall azalea right?) or more columnar? Would anybody reccomend it?

Also, are they any other of the fall hardy camellias thatare listed there you would reccomend for the Baltimore County region and a begginer like me?
