Plant in groups of 3 or many different single specimens?

What is normally done? I went with 3 black magic japonicas and have one each sasanqua cleopatra and yuletide. Meeting with the landscaper Monday, what do you folks normally do? I'm curious what most are doing. The cleopatra has bloomed very well so far, but we're moving her and planting the others which are all potted, out back. Going to be a nice view from the porch hammock either way.

I do not have that much morningsunthennshaded real estate so I would tend to plant in groups if the plants' dimensions will allow it.

What I was really asking, is if people have plantings which group many different camellias, or do you plant a group of 3 cleopatras, then a group of 3 yuletides, etc. Trying to gauge what most have been happy with, or if you did it a certain way and wish you could change it, that as well. I'm talking both Japonica and Sasanquas Camellias. Just fell in love with my Cleopatra so much that I want more Camellias. :)
