questions about cameillas

New to this site. Have a request for advice.

I am trying to buy 6 cameilla bushes with pink flowers (ideally bright pink with double bloom flowers) for installation along northern exposure of a Atlanta home.
We would like to use these as the vertical element in a foundation planting so we would like a type that can be trained to grow into a columnar tree form about 6 to 10 feet high and about 3 feet wide. It could have a single trunk or three trunks and hopefully could be cleared from the ground about 12 to 18 inches.
We would like to buy as mature a plant as possible.
Do you have any suggestions about this idea or the type we should look for?

Do you know of a nursery close to Atlanta that specializes in Camiellas that you recommend?

RE: questions about cameillas

Gene's Nursery, also known as Camelliashop.com in Savannah is somewhat close. Camellia Forest Nursery in Chappel Hill, NC is a little further away. Camellias are slow growers so be aware that the more mature your plants are, the more expensive they will be. Wholeseller Monrovia also sells a large selection of camellias so check their website www.monrovia.com's Advanced Search to determine which varieties interest you. Then see if you can locate local nurseries that sell their camellias or that will special order them for you.
