I AM IN LOVE WITH CAMELLIAS!!!
AND, I am determined to grow them in my area which is a warm 5/cold 6.

I have a great spot where I hope the microclimate will be sufficient.

NOW, all I need to know are some tried/true species and their cultuivars that will be o.k. Spring or fall bloowming, doesn't matter!

Please help!!!

You might check on Camellia Forest Nursery for their extra hardy varieties, though I've not ordered from them myself, and couldn't give any guarantees as to their quality etc. , though the garden watchdog most likly has some reviews on them. Go to the spot that oleifera hybrids, which are the hardiest ones. Some of the zone 7 ones, might survive in your zone in a very protected area.
