I AM IN LOVE WITH CAMELLIAS!!!
AND, I am determined to grow them in my area which is a warm 5/cold 6.
I have a great spot where I hope the microclimate will be sufficient.
NOW, all I need to know are some tried/true species and their cultuivars that will be o.k. Spring or fall bloowming, doesn't matter!
Please help!!! |

| You might check on Camellia Forest Nursery for their extra hardy varieties, though I've not ordered from them myself, and couldn't give any guarantees as to their quality etc. , though the garden watchdog most likly has some reviews on them. Go to the spot that oleifera hybrids, which are the hardiest ones. Some of the zone 7 ones, might survive in your zone in a very protected area. |
