Hi,
Ihave a camellia which I inherited from the former owner which just has not bloomed this year at all. I am planning to move it to a new bed which has acidic soil coniditoner along with other azaleas and rhodys. Will this be a good time to do the transplanting or should I wait till spring?

RE: Camellia - moving?

This would be a good time of the year for moving a camellia. Camellias are more or less dormant from November through mid-March here in CA. Moving it now will allow the roots to get established and do some growing before the spring growth spurt in late March and April.
