I have been enjoying the many Camellia sasanquas blooming, but I have especially enjoyed the sasanqua 'Leslie Ann'. The flowers of this variety open up first as a formal double like the picture below that I took today. It is one of the few sasanquas with a border around each petal. This variety has to be one of my very favorites.
Beautiful! What more can I say? The water droplet is perfection. Unfortunately it's not hardy in my area. If I had any more room to bring in plants for winter I would try it in a container but my sunroom is chock full and I've had to put one large plant in my attic and three large cymbidium orchids in the basement.
