It sounds like a good site to me. I have two 'Taylor's Perfection' both in nearly full sun and they do great. The more sun, the more blooms. Of course we live here on the gulf coast where the humidity is very high, and we get lots of rain, so we can grow just about any camellia in full sun. But T-P is a hybrid that likes more sun than many other camellias, so I would suggest give it a try. If problems arise, pop it up next winter and move it.
