Do you know Tiny Bell and Victor Emmanuel II ?

Hello,

I'm looking for pictures of Tiny Bell, not the pink one (called Tiny Belle), but another, a red one (seen in Paris, in the Parc Floral). Same question for Victor Emmanuel II ? Is it the same than Victor Emmanuel. If you have pictures or description, or links, it will be great.

Hello.
I do not know Tiny Bell. But, I have seen Camellia's flower "Vittorio Emanuele II". " King Victor Emanuele ", is the synonymous one of the same flower.
This one painting, only it is an example.

The flower of Camellia japonica cv. 'Vittorio Emanuele II', appears in " Flore de Serres " of Verschaffelt.

In the book of Andrea Corneo and Dora Remotti,"Camelie dell'Ottocento nel Verbano", there is a description of the Camellia japonica cv.'Vittorio Enmanuel II'.

Double imbricated flower. Diameter of the flower, 7.5, 7.8 cm..

Depth of the flower, 3.4, 3.5 cm..

Pétalos. - With round form, the external petals and elliptical form, the internal petals.

Surface of the pétalos. - The external, flat petals. The internal, concave petals.

Margin of the pétalos. - Smooth, lineares, points.

COLOR. - Rose. 62 B, in the external petals.
62 C in the internal petals.

With fluted Variegation. 54 A.

Petals with white margin.

Year 1861.
Obtentor. - Madoni - Brescia.
Synonymous:'King Victor Emanuel '.

I am sorry not to be able to have a photography for the Forum.
