| Saw a beautiful Dot Spengler and am contemplating adopting her. Can anyone tell me about her growth habit, expected size, heaviness of bloom, general plusses and minuses? Thanks! |

| The variety is listed as 'Dorothy Spengler' in the Camellia Nomenclature book as a japonica of average growth with large formal-double white blooms, blooming late in the season (probably March). Introduced by Mrs. J. J. (Dot?) Spengler of Durham, North Carolina in 1968. I will look for more information on this one. Sounds nice, and surely worth having. |
