East Coast Summer Cottage/Cabin Rentals? Any recommendations?

We're hoping to spend August on the east coast of Canada.

We'd love to find a nice 2 bedroom cottage rental close to the shore - any shore, or a couple of smaller 1 bedroom cabins with kitchens. (4 adults and 1 child is what we need to accomodate)

Do any of you know of any rentals round your way that you would recommend? (Clean & tidy is all we're looking for on the inside - cottage/cabins with kitchen - nothing fancy just well kept) surrounded by east coast beauty.

Oh I hope we get some suggestions from our gardening friends from the east coast! Can't imagine a better way to spend a month than on the east coast of Canada.

I could ask my brother to send me the number of the agency that he uses. He has a house in NS that he rents out through them - they might have a list of places that will fit your requirements, or they might have nothing, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

I don't have any reccomendations for you but I can tell you that anywhere you stay on the east coast will be wonderful, every section of this wonderful province offers beauty beyond compare. Let us know where you find a place and perhaps one or two of us can point you towards the popular attractions in that area.
