Seed Magazines/Websites from Canada?

| I would love to order seeds from someone reputable, rather than a big-name store here in my city.
Are there any specific Canadian seed magazines or websites that I can order from, that are not affiliated with Monsanto? I'm looking for heirloom and organic seeds.
Thank you for the help! |

| Oh oops! I also forgot to ask if those websites/magazines also contain a section for selling already grown plants. |

GC, I've included the links to some of my favorite heritage seed suppliers in Canada with decent prices and have been reputable for me. I don't think any of them carry starter plants. I do order a few starter plants from T&T Seeds in Manitoba. Not sure if they have vegies though. :) Hope this helps. I'm sure many of my fellow GWers will chime in with many more ideas. :) Ginny Garden http://www.ttseeds.com/PHP/home.php http://www.saltspringseeds.com/ http://www.heritageharvestseed.com/ http://www.terraedibles.ca/ http://cottagegardener.com/ http://www.prseeds.ca/catalogue/grain.php?C=Grain http://www.damseeds.ca/productcart/pc/home.asp |

| Try mcfayden.com. They have heirloom and organic seed. Also sell seed starting supplies, hardgoods and nursery product. I have been ordering from them for years and have always been pleased with their quality. |

| Annapolis Valley Heritage Seeds in Nova Scotia offers of nice collection of open pollinated varieties, mostly vegetables. They are small, but growing. Veseys in Charlottetown, PEI has a large catalogue and sells bulbs, perennials, shrubs, berries, etc. in addition to vegetable and flower seeds. They are definitely not organic overall, but they do offer quite a few certified organic and heirloom seeds. Currently, their spring Veseys Bulbs catalogue, which includes, perennials, roses, fruit trees, as well as bulbs, is offering $35 off a purchase of $75 or more from that catalogue. The offer is good until March 14. |

| The Canadian gardening newsletter contains a section on Canadian seed catalogues. I haven't looked at them but have included the link below. |
