Seems like a good deal. It doesn't tell you how many of what varieties they are including does it? As long as you don't have a preference then, go for it.

PS. Just watch the pollen from the flowers on your clothes. Hard to get out.

I purchased oriental lilies for $1 a pot at the end of July last year. There was one bulb in each pot. So that's about the same minus the S&H costs. It's not a bad deal. I usually only buy from catalogues when it's something I can't get the seeds for here and then can't find at the local nuseries in Spring. I found the winter blahs can make you buy from the catalogues things you wouldn't give a second look at in May.

Have you received any good seeds in trades in year?

Here's a tip for all you Lily growers, that is If you don't already know this. If you get pollen all over your clothes just wash as usual, put out in the sun and the stain disappears like magic, this also works if you get pollen on upholstery. Take it from someone who can't walk past a Lily without getting it all over myself.

i've got the catalogue right here!! looks like a good deal .. there's a big assortment of bulbs. not all lilies are created equal. some will spread when happy others like the star gazers don't seem to multiply usally only 2-4 blooms per bulb. where as the others can have 7 -11. i bought one small collection like this one and purchased the rest seperatly. my mothers the expert, she's got 100's when there in bloom Wow!!! watch the pollen!!!

I have seen them cheaper at my local good nursery, and occasionally at places like Canadian Tire. It's not a bad deal though - I've seen plenty of places charge much more than that. I'd look around locally first and see what's being stocked.
