I am moving into a new house March 1st 2009. I wish to change my style of gardening of high maintenance, to low maintenance.

I need ideas for flowering trees/shrubs with 4 season interest for the outer perimeter of the property.

Choosing my perennials is a no brainer... but wish to locate photos/ideas that will inspire me.

I simply want to see what others have done in their Canadian gardens..... any photos/resources would be appreciated folks!

BTW, I want these trees and shrubs to be bird, butterfly and nature welcoming.
