My all time favourite is peaches and cream! You can get it at all the farms here in Ontario and in roadside stands. Nice and sweet too.

Noting your id as LilacIsLove makes me yearn to have them. We can't grow them in Texas. I am originally from Pa/NY where we had them. Rochester NY the capitol for lilacs. That was the last I knew. Thanks a million.

Peaches and Cream used to be a variety but that name now is used by many roadside stands instead of the real name of one of the newer yellow and white varieties. Everyone remembers Peaches and cream because it was one of if not the first bicolour sweet corn and it was really good. There have been many new varieties introduced that are bicolour and are even better than the old peaches and cream but somehow that name still gets used. I guess you can't teach old dogs new tricks!

I grew up on a farm, wishing I had adequate space now for all those garden vegetables. I could grow one or two stalks of corn in a pot, right? Ha I am envious. Good for you.

Our favorite variety here is Big Jim but it isn't a bicolor. Just big and yellow and really good. We always laughed because my father-in-laws name is Jim and he's a big guy.
I have found the last few years that even corn I buy tastes better. They must be developing varieties that stay sweet longer. My husband used to not eat corn on the cob unless it was picked fresh from our field that day but I am talking him into store or market bought when we don't have any ready yet. It has definitely improved since the old days!
