What a difference with the rest of Canada on your coast. I'm still exploring your coastal flora with a Victoria blossom enthusiast. We both lived in Ontario with snow into April. I remember being in Toronto one April enjoying a nice, warm spring day after a rather large thunderstorm. Then it just changed overnight to freezing rain and snow. March is a mix in Ontario. Those late freezes just kill your spirit. I'm getting used to see trees loaded with blossoms before spring in Victoria but I'm impressed with Saucer magnolias. They can put on quite the show. So many things don't wait for spring out here.
