Paper bark Maple Tree Zone 5

Has anyone had experience with growing a Paperbark Maple Tree (Acer griseum ) in Zone 5 or lower? I have been considering getting one for our property but all the literature I have found indicates they are hardy to Zone 6. Any input is appreciated.

You have to be careful about any question about zone. I beleive Montreal is zone 4 on the new Canadian zone map and zone 5 on the old one.

I am located in Guelph - zone 5 on the new map. paperbark maple is hardy here.
