Master Gardener (U Guelph courses)?

Just wondering if any of you GW members have taken any of the Guelph on-line horticultural courses as a road to obtaining the "Master Gardener" certificate?

No I haven't but had considered it. I guess the question would by why take the course? What are the benefits of getting this certificate?

For me it would right now be strictly for interest sake. It is just that doing formal courses would give some structure to this interest. But for sure I would love to hear from someone who has taken these courses. Did they find it...enjoyable?

I am a Master Gardener with the Guelph group. I took the test instead of the courses.

You can take MG courses at either Guelph or Dalhousie. the latter are a bit less expensive.

The members who have taken the courses really liked them. they like the ongoing, online interactions with other students.
