trumpet vine and porcelain vine~ r they invasive in this area??

We are hoping to get some climbing vines for various parts of our garden and walls of our home. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with either Porcelain Vine or Trumpet Vine. I have read that both are invasive but "spectacular" climbers...

If invasive, is there any way to control said plants but still have the vigorous growth.

I had trumpet vine and it was not invasive but I also had silver lace vine and that one went up behind the siding of the house and could have been costly.
