Vancouver vs Victoria

Some Vancouver streets make visitors forget that Victoria is supposed to be the garden capital. A Saucer Magnolia can't wait for the winter olympics to end before it explodes into flowers in March. Move over dear Victoria...

I've been to Victoria in April before. The west coast is always a much nicer place to be this time of the year. We are hopefully planning a visit to Victoria again this year in the summer.
Maybe I should explore Vancouver too.

Everything is still hiding in the ground here. But I don't mind, we can still get some heavy frosts for a while and I have plum trees that will drop there flowers and fruit if hit with a frost. The longer it takes them to flower the better.
