Well I hope that it is. I've never seen it for sale in any Canadian stores like Canadian Tire and such.
I *think* it would work against pests like squirrels and raccoons and possible insects. They would smell it or get burned by the capsicum and bugger off.

If its not available in Canada, you could make a homemade one. There are others topics here about it if you search for "pepper repellent".

disolve a tiny bit of parafin wax in hot horticulrual oil for more permanence, use this sparingly in your mix, but it helps to stay on the plants even when it rains.
what kills your insects is either the hot peppers (buy hottest spice available) or garlic. You can also use tobacco butts, soaked in warm water onernight, strain and spray, very strong, but not chemical.
But this kills also your good guys, so use only where needed.

I bought my everbearing strawberries last year at Canadian Tire. Rona had them, as well.

I'm looking for a spray that will deter deer and groundhogs. This sounds good. Maybe they won't like the capsicum.

I've found it's more work than waxing but at least the little pink razors don't burn your hands. Plus one neighbour up in Bobcaygeon just lets the hairs grow and says to heck with waxing! Yes, surely I jest.
