tuberous begonias

I started quite a few tuberous begonias at the beginning of March. Most of them are doing just fine but I have one or two of them which are quite leggy and the stems keep drooping. Since we still have at least a month, if not more, before we can put anything outside, would it be a good idea to cut off the stems that are drooping and hope that another stem grows out?

Also, if I have begonias that have been potted since the beginning of March and nothing is coming out, do you think that means it's a lost cause or do I give it more time?
