Sweet Cicely - I tried but they died

User

I had sweet cicley seeds from my plants at my previous residence. I tried winter sowing them but they've turning into mush and nothing more. So I order new plants to plant at our new home and I will let them self seed to propagate new plants next year. Or at least I'm actually just going to bury the dried seeds myself and let them do their thing naturally. Well not exactly bury but press firmly into the ground.

They make such a lovely light and airy border plant for tall planting areas (grow about 1 1/2 - 2 feet). I love the smell of them and they can be used in teas, cooking etc.

So we'll see how the transplants do when they arrive next month.

Anyone else try sweet cicely?
