A little seedling sprouted in one of my houseplants. Today I yanked it and for some reason put it up to my nose for a little sniff. OUCH!!!! I checked google images and darned if it wasn't STINGING NETTLE!! How the heck it got in there I will never know. My nose has finally stopped stinging pretty much. I just let it run, using natures cleaning process to flush it. But how absurd.

Bird! I had the same thing happen here last year. They are easy enough to pull out, but one must be wearing gloves.

Yes they are easy. I just wish I knew what the little blighter was beforehand and I would have put some on.

I hate those things. They itch for days!!! I once ran my hand through a bunch of Agastache... Or so I though. Hidden in there was you know what - ever notice how much the leaves of stinging nettle resemble Agastache?
