May be mucky job but it would be very rewarding come warmer weather. Remember that this year is the year of wacky weather so in a normal year, it would be warmer by now. No snow...

Yesterday it snowed and later hailed in my area.

I'm in a new home build - was planning all winter to have my cold weather veggies in by now. Same horrid weather north of Kingston ON - so much so that I've been unable to even flip much dirt to clean out builder's debris and chopped up roots from the land being shoved around.

Very disappointing.

Wanted to have my rustic fencing done too - the other day watching hail fly horizontally across the windows, rain and snow I'm afraid I may have lost some newly purchased plants that needed to be planted - grapes, rhubarb, red currant - at least I got my antique roses in the ground.
Yep, sucky spring. At least I have my indoor seed starts to play with.

And May is black fly season out here - I'm hoping to play catch-up before the strike!
