Grass Seed & Frost

I have a little grass seed to do this spring and would like to know if cooler temps or even a frost will effect this. I live in southern Ontario. Is there a best time to do this in the spring. Thanks.

Now is the time. Sprinkle them with a bit of sand if possible, to deter birds from feeding on the seeds. I sow seeds in early spring, mid spring and late spring. I only stop when summer
comes up and the grass goes dormant.
