Not too late. We usually sow all tomato varieties in first week of April and wait until 1st week of June to plant out into the vegetable garden. Location is near Barrie, Ont Zone 4b/5a.

I would have to agree with sharont, it is not too late, and you can give them a head start by setting them on a bright windowsill, and keeping the room very nice and warm. Also apply a dilute organic fertilizer solution once the first true leaves appear at each watering interval, and you should see excellent results!

When you plant them out, you may try a cover such as Reemay to give them a head start out there as well.

Thanks, plantenthusiast and sharont. I'll give it a try. I'd very much like some Black Cherry tomatoes to go with my Green Grape, Yellow Pear and Tumbling Toms. I appreciate you taking time to answer.

If you'd like some BC seeds (assuming they grow up in time, of course), please let me know. They were so sweet and wonderful last year.
