Yes, Walmart provides employment and they have low prices. Are you aware how they get such low prices. How they treat their suppliers? When Walmart comes to an area all smaller businesses close. Sam Walston was a ruthless entrepreneur and his stores are run the same way.

I live in a rural area, so I get to see the devastation to the local economy in the small town where Walmart is. I also get to see the devastation to the economy in the other small towns surrounding Walmart.
I am also a grower. I live here, I buy here, I employ here. Walmart does nothing for me or my greenhouses.
Buy local. Put your money where your town is.
