Pretty Much Picasso and other annuals

I'm very happy (so far) with the annuals I selected for my urns and planters this summer.

I hadn't grown Portulaca in ages. I probably became bored with it because I had less direct sunlight at my old house. But the plants are blooming very nicely now in my south-facing backyard and the crepe-paper looking flowers are simply beautiful. Same goes for the Gazanias -- very bright and cheery.

I also got some pretty 'Copper Penny" orange violas and an amazing lime-green coleus. This is the first coleus I've planted in years.

While at Botanix yesterday, I picked up a 'Pretty Much Picasso' Petunia. The bright fuschia surrounded by chartreuse is just stunning.

So I guess it's a mix of the old and the new for me this year. Can't wait till my containers are brimming over with blooms.
