We have had 2 pear trees for about 5 years and they never did anything. In March we did some pruning and now one of them is covered with flowers. When we bought them, we were told they had 3 different types of pears on them. We'll see what we get. They are gorgeous in flower. The Saskatoons are doing great this year and the crabapples are budding up and about to open.

Your pictures are great. We have a Bing and a Stella cherry tree, this is there first year. Any advice?
No peaches yet, but maybe this year we will get one.
I usually talk my son into buying me a fruit tree, bush or vine for mom's day. But this year he thinks I have enough plants. What!
I have currants too, but I recently moved them to sunnier locations in my garden. Again I love your pics. I'll see if I can find my camera and take some photos too.

you may be able to grow elderberries in zone 3. Or dwarf fruit trees in containers.

My Cherry tree is rewarding and easy to grow.Does not need any special treatments beside spraying with Dormant Oil.Hope your trees will surprise you with unusually big and nice harvest.
