Anyone have any good ones? The only one I have is to sprinkle your Zinnias with cinnamon powder to stop that mildew on the leaves. I did this two years ago when I noticed the foliage just falling apart - it seemed to work. Has anyone tried the diaper in the containers gardens? (helps retain moisture)

No, but my neighbour could provide me with all kinds of diapers, .... fertilized as well. :)

I merely cut off the bottom 4 inches of leaves on my dahlias to stop the mildew on the leaves......once they are established, of course.

mix your grass seed with gritty sand. It does 3 things, deter birds from eating the seeds, keeps the seeds moist, and also improves soil quality
