Bumblebees

We have a large, 10 acre field, behind our house. Right now its yellow from end to end. Along with the dandelions there are lots of huge bumblebees there. I was walking the dogs back there today and we had to hopscotch around them! Anyone else notice the number of bumble bees around has increased or is it only me? Marg

I'm just starting to see them on our acreage - can't see much at all for the blackflies around here.

Nothing yet in my area but I'm expecting them. I like these cute little bees hovering around my yard.

I noticed quite a few pollinating my cherry trees. Even with all the rain we've had this week, they've been out there in-between showers.

Yes, I've noticed bees around the garden. One spending lots of time at the bleeding hearts today. I posted a photo on my blog.

I just mentioned to my D.H. today that I had been seeing so many really large Bumble Bees lately.That makes me VERY Happy,perhaps people are cutting back on spraying with toxic chemicals and giving the good Guys a chance.
