| Hi,
I'm a new gardener so I'm a little freaked out about the frost warning for Ottawa tonight. What do I have to protect? My perennials from last year have all come up already, do they need to be covered? I planted 3 new perennials, I will cover them. Thanks for any help!

| Perennials don't need any help or cover. They will be fine. The only thing you need to cover are any annuals you have purchased and planted, ie petunias, impatiens, marigolds,or other box flowers. Pansys will be fine without help, and any veggies you have just purchased and planted i.e. tomatoes and peppers. |

| I agree with Sheryl. No need to panick. Your plants are fine. |
