Hi yugoslava,

I have dealt with Whistling Gardens for two years now -- each time placing my order in winter, for delivery in early spring.

This year I got the following (try finding ANY of them at a local nursery!) :

Abies concolor Lavita
Abies concolor Olson
Abies concolor Rochester Park
Pinus mugo Aurea
Pinus parviflora Fukai
Picea mariana Doumetti
Picea englemanii Snake
Pinus strobus Louie
Pinus sylvestris Jeremy
Acer palmatum Orangeola

These are all grafted cultivars.
Very nice plants -- especially the concolor firs: last year I bought some from a different nursery, but they were considerably smaller, and all 3 of them croaked.
The ones from Whistling Gardens look like they have a much better chance of survival.

Incidentally, Darren, the owner of Whistling Gardens participates in the Conifers GW forum (when he has time), and offers useful advice on growing grafted conifers, etc.

I find his prices quite attractive, even including the shipping costs, compared to local nurseries.
I hear also that he's becoming popular with US gardeners, due to the favourable exchange rate... For sure he is well known in the tiny conifer grafting community in the US.
