Building a Trellis

Hi, there are roses growing in my yard and they're growing every which way.

I was thinking of building a trellis and having the roses grow around that. I don't want anything elaborate, I just want to clean it up a little as it doesn't look that great right now the way it's growing out in a bunch of different directions. I want it to go out more horizontally than up high vertically.

I'm a beginnier and not sure what type of roses they are though as they were already there. I know there are climbing roses that grow well on a trellis but since I don't know what type these are, what would happen? Would they still grow around the trellis?

Another question is that I don't want to dig holes and pour concrete footings for the trellis, so what other options do I have? The wall that I want to grow this is against a porch, so it's sort of a half wall with the porch railing above the wall. I was thinking of maybe hanging the trellis off of this railing.

Any ideas and help would be appreciated. Thank you.
