Is it suffering from dehydration?

That was my first thought too ianna but since none of my other foxgloves had that problem, I didn't think it was the cause. All of the foxgloves are planted in the same area. Marg

When I googled some photos of digitalis, there were some with hook characteristics although not prevalent. If the plant is wilting, disease or pest attacking the roots could be a cause. If not and it's healthy, perhaps you have a genetically unique plant.

Hi Marg:

I don't think you have to worry at all. I don't know the background of 'Camelot' but I have digitalis grandiflora (perennial, very nice yellow bells, plants only gets 2-3 feet high) and every one of them has a gently curved hook like budding habit. I think they are quite lovely. They may have used some d. grandiflora at some time in the breeding process.

Thanks for the info mystery gardener. I bought the seeds from T&M. Maybe I'll email them and ask about it. That digitalis grandiflora sounds like it should be in my garden! Marg
