Aquilegia (Columbine) ??

Are this in the Aquilegia family ??

If not, can somebody tell me what they are called here......

Yes they are all aquilegia - and very lovely too!

I have one like the white one. It's one of the McKenna Giants. M

Those resemble alot like clematis of the Integrifolia Group or am I mistaken? I have never seen Aquilegia with such big flowers.

Definitly Aquilegia. They come in all sizes! I'm more partial to the tiny ones, but those big ones are very impressive in groups!

Thanks everybody and Yes, they are beautiful this year. Perhaps with all that rain and cooler nights (up in the Laurentians) the flowers are bigger then ever.
