I am thinking of planting some alliums in a specific spot but it isn't an ideal location. I've read that they need full sun but the spot I'm thinking of is morning sun and that is it. Do you think they will do well in such a spot? Any other recommendations for a bulb that would do well in morning sun, keeping in mind I'm hoping for something at least 2 feet tall. Thanks.

I have many different alliums and they grow well in part shade as well as sun.

I second that. They do well in partshade.

I like using allium purple sensation and globemaster. There's also christophii, drumsticks (best in large groups) and mt. everest.
