Gardening in Canada

Safer's 3 in 1

I was at Home Depot today because I noticed one or two of my roses are starting a bit of Black Spot. I have been reading the rose forums ad nauseum and I realize in Canada we play a different Chemical warfare than our American neighbors do. Seems all the various and sundry products they talk about for black spot are not readily available here. SO anyway I could have bought Defender by Safers but ended up with their 3 in 1 for fungus, and a few miscellaneous bugs besides. ( I did notice the odd aphid but nothing major yet.) Was I being clever by getting a combination product or just compromising effectiveness over the one problem by doing this? Has anyone used this product?

I use the 3 in 1 but for pests on my roses. I find it doesn't help blackspot at all. I read somewhere using milk to combat bs is effective although I haven't tried it yet.
