Garden Centre Liquidations

Montreal area Costco stores are closing their garden centres this week. I picked up 15 bags of quality landscape mix for $1.97 per bag.

I then went to Canadian Tire and got 6 packs of 2 Montenegro lilies at $3.93 per pkg, down from $6.49.

Last Saturday I picked up 3 clay planters that a local nursery was liquidating. Bought a couple of flats of annuals and potted them right up and I'll be enjoying them the rest of the summer.

When does Loblaw's start its liquidation? I got 6 rolls of nice landscaping cloth there 3 years ago at half price, and I just used up the last bit of it yesterday on a new flower bed I created. Hope I can score some more at a discount.

I don't think that the Loblaws/Zehrs chain start discounting until after July 1. All stores are not the same, so ask at your local store if interested.
