hmm.. it 'might' be an aster can't really tell though. It looks as though it might flower soon so let it happen and see if that gives you a better idea.

Regardless of what it is, it is only a weed if you don't want it there. :-)

I think it's a weed. A tumbleweed perhaps. I've had one grow in my yard and didn't realize until late in the season that it was a weed.

Lol, again it is only a weed if you don't want it there. Many people are growing 'native' gardens that would include what many would call weeds. Yet, to them. they are not.

Might be why the monarchs are doing so bad, people can't get past the term 'weed'....
