BC Windmill palm seeds & seedlings

This is not for sale or trade. Just to give Vancouver Island palm tree seedlings a home on the island instead of wasting them. I need to clear palm tree seedlings from under the Windmill palms in my old garden located in Victoria, BC. Vancouver Island residents (z8a & z8b areas) who have patience to grow trachycapus palm tree seedlings can grab them. The new owner will not know what to do with them. You can also grab 2006 winter crop palm tree seeds from the mature palm trees. Some bracts are on the palm trees while others are removed with ripe seed.

The type of tree is the most common palmate you see in Vancouver or in Greater Victoria.

Hi Den_vic:

I will gladly try growing any of your castoffs ;-)

Christine still works in Victoria and she could drop around. I also make it there once every couple of weeks. Let know what might work out for you.

MG: You have a nice site

Your site photos are really nice. It makes mine look very "hobby". Fridays 2 to 6 pm work well for me.

Here's timber bamboo near Oak Bay.
