I love those! I have to get a new one next year - mine did not come out of dormancy. Previously I had stored it in the pot, soil and all, but this past year I dug it up to save on space, and I guess I shouldn't have done that :-(

Yours is flowering quite late though - when did you start it? I guess if you got it on sale you must have bought it late. Mine opened in early July (potted up and watered the bulb starting in early April) and the the leaves form a few weeks later. You'll probably have to take it inside in the fall to build the bulb back up enough for next year, but it's not really a problem - it has very nice leaves too.

I was wondering what had happened to the leaves. The picture on the package shows it in full foliage along with the bloom. Mine has the bloom, glad to here it will soon have leaves.

I think that must have been some photoshopping - I have never seen one with the leaves at the same time as the blooms - maybe it can happen, but I haven't seen it.
