It would be better identified if the seed heads were present...you will get a better idea next year when they go to seed.....

As far as planting ornamental grasses, most like to grow in full sun in rich, moist soil. They are drought tolerant once established, but will grow better if kept moist. Basically, just grow them as you would an ordinary lawn.
Once the grasses have reached their full heights and begin to flower, they will be easier to identify.
