Hi there fellow Canadian gardeners,

I've inherited a new garden, with lots of weedy-looking growth that I'm debating pulling up. I realize that "weed" is a matter of personal preference, but the plants pictured here, they grew pretty fast and I don't like the look of them, so unless they're about to flower beautifully, or attract butterflies or help save another endangered species, I'd really rather pull them up and mulch over, so that the remaining plants can show through. If anyone recognizes any of these, could you advise me?

I know it's hard to ID from a photo, but honestly your best guess or advice is good enough for me! I just don't want to uproot something valuable. Much thanks in advance!
